Job description

EEX Asia is a commodity derivatives exchange based in Singapore. We run a regulated electronic trading marketplace and wish to recruit a part-time accountant who like the challenge of working in a dynamic environment to join our team.

Your Tasks

• Collect and prepare data that helps in the reporting of our Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
• Collect and prepare data that is needed to help with the income tax computation
• Review the expense claims submitted by staff for reimbursement
• Prepare the submission of GST report to IRAS
• Assist with Account Payable processes
• Assist with Procurement processes
• Ad-hoc activities that might come up from time to time
  
  

Your profile

• High level of motivation with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management and clients
• Able to think out of the box and approach tasks with a holistic approach
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics and/or Business preferred
• Strong IT literacy and familiarity with common office software packages
