Job description

We are looking for Accountant with a keen interest in the gaming industry to join our dynamic team. This role will support financial operations across both our Singapore and overseas entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group standards. You will play a key role in financial reporting, system enhancement, and cross-team collaboration to support business decision-making and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting and Financial Reporting

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting standards for Singapore and overseas entities in line with local and international regulations.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger entries, month-end closing, and statutory filings.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports for both local and group-level requirements.

System Integration and Process Optimization

  • Support the integration of local accounts into the group’s accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and IT to help implement and enhance financial systems and tools.
  • Assist in streamlining and improving financial processes and workflows.

Compliance and Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support overseas regulatory reporting needs.
  • Coordinate with external parties and auditors to ensure proper documentation and compliance across jurisdictions.

Strategic Financial Support

  • Work with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and data support for business analysis and decision-making.

Ad-Hoc Assignments

  • Undertake additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the finance manager or management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to both audit firm and in-house.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools, SQL, or VBA is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and keen on continuous learning and development.
  • Basic understanding of Singapore and international accounting standards and tax compliance.
