About the role

We are seeking a talented Accountant to join our dynamic Global Express Freight Services Pte. Ltd. team based in the Changi Airport East Region. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting for our rapidly growing organization. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions

• Reconcile accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial information and insights

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
