Job summary

TOH CHUAN KEE FOODSTUFF PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts for our food factory operations. You will handle AP, AR, and GL, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or wholesale, proficiency with UBS Accounting and Million Accounting, and strong Excel skills. You will liaise with auditors and banks and support monthly reporting and GST compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a recognized Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Level 3 or equivalent.
• 2–3 years hands-on full-set accounting experience in manufacturing, food, or wholesale industries in Singapore.
• Proficient with UBS Accounting and Million Accounting software, and MS Excel.

Job Description:

• Manage full sets of accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) for the food factory operations.
• Handle daily banking transactions, cash flow monitoring, and timely supplier payment processing via corporate banking platforms.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify invoices, receipts, and statements against factory purchasing and delivery records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets for management review.
• Assist in compiling financial data for quarterly GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bank representatives on routine corporate financial matters.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a recognized Diploma in Accounting, Professional LCCI Level 3 Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of solid hands-on full-set accounting experience within the Manufacturing, Food, or Wholesale industry in Singapore.
• Proficient in operating standard corporate accounting systems, specifically UBS Accounting and Million Accounting software, as well as MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous with numbers, and able to work independently under tightfinancial deadlines.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, internal operation teams, and management.
