We're looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including transactional activities, period-end closing procedures, and financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations:
  • Manage and process invoicing to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Process and generate payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Month-End, Quarter-End, and Annual Closing Activities:
  • Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and matched.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all asset, liability, and equity accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as required.
  • Ensure all month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Assist in the preparation of management and HQ reporting packages.
  • Support the finance team in financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting processes.
Compliance & Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulations.
  • Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Other Duties:
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any queries or requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Provide financial and administrative support as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with inventory accounting and consolidation is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
