We are currently looking for an Senior Accountant/Accountant with the expertise and experience to help us navigate this exciting journey ahead in our Singapore office.

As our Senior Accountant/Accountant, you will be tasked with the following key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closing activities
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for the group
  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations
  • Liaise and oversee the accounts of subsidiaries companies within the Group to ensure timely monthly closing and reporting
  • Perform financial information analysis, provide reporting & analysis to senior management by using data analytic tools
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors for statutory reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis at the group level
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial processes
  • Statistics / survey preparation and submission
  • Ability to perform corporate tax computation / tax reporting and support and ensure compliance with all tax filing requirement
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP), tax regulations, financial compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Any other ad-hoc duties, reports and analyses as assigned
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team when needed

We would like to hear from you, if you possess the following:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit background
  • Minimum 4-5 years hands-on experience in preparation of group consolidation and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with oil and gas or bunkering industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamic Navision / Microsoft Business Central
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to optimize processes.
