Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant responsible for maintaining full sets of accounts, monthly reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Epicor accounting software is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Job description

Accountant

· Keeping full sets of accounts

· Prepare monthly reconciliation for all General Ledger accounts

· Inventory Management e.g. stock code creation, inventory adjustments

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management

· Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines

· Execute Hyperion reporting

· Prepare GST schedule and ensure timely submission of GST return

· Coordinate and liaise with external parties eg external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax agents where required

· Support and ensure compliance with all finance filings and reporting requirements per corporate and statutory guidelines

· Assist in finance ad hoc duties

Requirements

· Degree in Accounting / Diploma in Accounting

· 3-5 years of relevant experience

· Knowledge in Epicor accounting software will be an advantage

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Meticulous, possess initiative, independent, quick learner, good working attitude and able to multi-task
