A leading company in the construction sector is seeking an experienced accountant to oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will handle financial reporting, auditing, and budget forecasting while liaising with internal teams and external auditors. Duties and Responsibility:
Ø Overseeing accounting transactions.
Ø Ensuring that financial reports are done and submitted on time.
Ø Working with internal groups to verify financial statements.
Ø Liaising with external auditors or government representatives whenever necessary.
Ø Calculating taxes and putting together tax returns.
Ø Analysing reports and presenting findings.
Ø Monitoring compliance to internal and government financial guidelines.
Ø Forming budget forecasts.
Ø Perform ad-hoc accounting assignments as directed by the superior
Requirements:
Ø A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Ø Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing mainly for construction industry.
Ø Proactive with a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ø Good communication skills to liaise with associates government authorities.
Ø Team player.
