Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting needs of the company, managing relations and liaising with the regulators, external auditors, and banks. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities
  • Required to handle full set of accounts, including data entry
  • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations and report daily balance
  • Prepare GST return for filing to IRAS on a monthly basis
  • Prepare statutory reports and other ad-hoc finance related reports
  • Liaise with external auditors on financial audit and tax agent on tax filing
  • Maintain accounting and internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain liaison with regulators and banks, taking appropriate actions to address their requirements
  • Advise updates with changes to accounting requirements related to company business
  • Manage inter-company transactions and billings
  • Manage AP and request for payment when supplier invoice fall due
  • Provide general support within and outside the department, covering duties when account department staff goes on leave.
Requisite:
  • Singaporean preferred
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting position
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office and Accounting software
  • Ability to handle full set of accounts strongly desirable
  • Meticulous and independent with the ability to multi-task and meet assigned finance deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous with numbers
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in HR/Payroll is an added advantage
