Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of accounts executives to ensure all accounting records are kept accurately and on a timely basis.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliation and handle other bank-related matters.
- Generate statements of accounts for respective departments and customers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and ad hoc reporting and audit schedules.
- Assist in monthly financial closing, ensuring responsible accounting entries are properly, timely, and accurately updated.
- Perform other supporting functions within the Finance Department.
- Prepare GST submissions to IRAS and handle intercompany billing for Singapore companies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
- Responsible for submitting annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to management.
- Produce annual financial reports within statutory deadlines.
- Ensure all financial matters comply with legislation, FRS, and generally accepted accounting practices.
- Liaise with corporate secretarial agents, auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations for the preparation and submission of necessary regulatory documentation and returns.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines, with 3-5 years of experience in finance.
- CPA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with financial software, including proficiency in Excel, is preferred.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
