Job summary

A leading accounting and corporate services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to handle full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist with tax schedules. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience and must be proficient in MS Excel and Mandarin. Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years experience in accounting roles, especially in an accounting firm.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Knowledge of English and Mandarin essential.

Responsibilities

• Handles full sets of accounts including reconciliations and preparation of schedules.
• Assists in year-end closing of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepares quarterly GST reports and monitors customers’ accounts.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Handles several full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL & Reporting), including reconciliations and preparation of schedules

• Assist in timely year end closing accounts.

• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management accounts

• Keying in data entries.

• Prepare and submit quarterly GST report

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company

• Handle customers’ queries via email &/or calls

• Monitor customer’s accounts and filling deadline

• Prepare tax schedules and simple income tax computations.

• Help to review junior staff working

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 year experience in accounting roles, and accounting firm working experience will add advantage

• Accounting knowledge, Minimum Diploma/Degree/ACCA in Accounting or equivalent

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word

• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with all levels and positive working attitude

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and meet tight deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude

• We have Chinese clients, and knowledge of English and Mandarin is essential
