Job Description

The Account Section Supervisor oversees the accounting department while also supervising daily operations for the company’s restaurant and wholesale distribution activities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient coordination between finance and operations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, monitoring inventory costs, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. The Supervisor works closely with the operations team to track sales performance, control expenses, and implement process improvements for both the restaurant and wholesale divisions. This position requires strong leadership, multi-tasking, and the ability to balance financial management with operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff in day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor daily restaurant operations, including sales reports, cash handling, and cost controls.
  • Supervise wholesale distribution processes, inventory tracking, and client billing.
  • Liaise with suppliers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support budget preparation and monitor financial performance for all business units.
  • Review and approve journal entries, payment vouchers, and operational expense claims.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency across finance and operations.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
