A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Manager to oversee a team and manage full sets of accounts for various properties. Candidates should possess a diploma in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience, including supervisory roles. This position involves ensuring accurate month-end closures, liaising with auditors, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
Job Description:
Manage full sets of accounts for assigned properties, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closures.
Lead and supervise a team of Accounts Assistants, Officers, and Executives in daily accounting operations.
Review invoices, financial statements, journal entries, and GST submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Oversee bank reconciliations, supplier payments, audit reports, and statutory filings.
Monitor debtor and creditor accounts to meet monthly closing deadlines.
Prepare and issue maintenance, sinking fund, and special levy invoices, including reminders and demand letters.
Ensure proper handling of cash collections and timely bank deposits.
Coordinate the preparation and presentation of financial documents for AGMs/EOGMs.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with auditors during annual audits and support financial reporting processes.
Oversee onboarding for new assignments and manage workflow coverage during staff absences.
Serve as the key liaison between finance and operations teams to resolve internal issues and ensure alignment.
Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
Job Requirement:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial procedures.
Familiar with GST reporting and Section 47(1)(c) certificates (preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage deadlines and work independently with attention to detail.
