A leading furniture company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full set accounts. The role involves overseeing daily transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a diploma in accountancy. Immediate availability is preferred.

Job description
Job Scope/Responsibilities

Full Set Accounts:

  • Monitor and oversee daily accounting transactions and activities
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the accounting books and records
  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and cost control procedures that compliance to company policies and regulations
  • Streamline accounting processes to enhance the departmental performance
  • Perform monthly closing and prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Preparation of budgets and forecast including analysis of actual against forecast and budgets
  • Responsible for fixed assets management, intercompany transactions and reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Responsible for vendor creation, processing of vendor invoices and payment, liaise with vendors for invoicing issues, reconciliation of expenses and monitoring payables aging
  • Ensure all sales and receipts are recorded and controlled accordingly, processing of invoices and refund, and monitoring receivables aging
  • Preparing sales commission according to company policies
  • Preparation and submission of GST
  • Organise and coordinate annual stock take
  • Assist in system implementation
  • Providing expected cash flow information to business, and monitoring and preparing cash flow forecasting and reporting
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure audit, statutory and tax compliance
  • Assume any other suitable duties as and when assigned by the company
Requirements
  • Diploma in accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Able to start immediately
  • ACCA not required

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm
