A leading company in alternative investments seeks an Account Manager to generate new business in institutional distribution across various product lines. Candidates should have a strong background in selling alternative funds and demonstrate proven skills in managing relationships with institutional investors. Fluency in Mandarin is required for this role, aimed at servicing Chinese clients effectively.
Position Description
Account Manager with a focus on the institutional distribution of our Alternative Credit, Private Real Estate, and Hedge Fund products. Strategies include opportunistic private corporate and real estate debt, private lending, contingent capital, and specialty finance.
This position is responsible for generating new business in the organisation's alternative investment strategies across existing and prospective investors and consultants. The role involves partnering with colleagues across the Institutional AM team and the broader GWM/Family Capital channels. The position is based in Singapore.
This role requires a dynamic, diplomatic, and collaborative professional. The successful candidate will:
Ideal Experience
5+ years of institutional business development experience across alternatives, including private equity-style vehicles, customized strategies, and hedge funds.
Candidates With a Specific Background Selling
Education/Certifications
An advanced degree such as an MBA, or a CFA or CAIA designation is preferred.
