Additional job description

As an Account Manager, you will advocate for digital marketing, and drive engagement with industry, advertising, and media agency partners in Pakistan. You will consult and partner with clients and prospects to help them grow their businesses using Google solutions. This role requires flexibility to accommodate extensive and regular travel to Pakistan, to effectively support customers in the market.

Initially based in Singapore, this pivotal role will involve deep engagement and driving business growth exclusively in the Pakistan market, which may lead to your relocation to a different location in South Asia.

  • Manage day-to-day account management, and grow a book of business comprised of leading Gaming and Apps companies in Pakistan.
  • Contribute quarterly and annually to account and business planning across the team.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Identify and propose product launches and advertising opportunities to customers.
  • Drive campaign performance optimization, provide performance updates, and ensure that return on investment meets the expectations of customers.
  • Manage ongoing customer training and up-skilling across all Google advertising solutions.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales and business development, product marketing, digital media, technology sales, or with agencies/publishers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Urdu fluently to communicate with and serve English and Urdu speaking customers in the region.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with emerging markets.
  • Experience in digital advertising and performance marketing, and in-depth knowledge of the digital media and advertising ecosystem.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders of all levels, including customer and agency levels.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, navigate through ambiguity, and work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to identify solutions and insights from data and take an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and analytical skills.
