With a strong legacy Kensing now is Private Equity-backed, and is known for its natural vitamin E, phytosterols, surfactants, and specialty esters. The company is committed to sustainability, innovation, and quality, holding an EcoVadis Gold rating and expanding rapidly through strategic acquisitions.

Due to continued growth, Kensing is looking for a driven Account Manager to join the European commercial team. This role will focus primarily on the Food & Nutrition segments, including human nutrition, food & beverage, and dietetics.

You will manage the Benelux and German markets, with potential to expand into the Nordics in the future. The role is new business-oriented - your main goal is to identify opportunities, build a healthy sales pipeline, and develop long-term customer partnerships. Although part of a small and collaborative European sales team (4 people in Europe, 13 globally), you'll operate with a high level of autonomy and entrepreneurial freedom.

Job Description

  • Develop new customer relationships within food, dietary supplements, and related sectors
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and manage the full sales cycle
  • Visit prospects, attend trade shows, and represent Kensing in the market
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, supply chain, product) to meet customer needs
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage pricing/contract discussions
  • Report on pipeline activity, market trends, and customer insights

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-7 years of B2B commercial experience in the ingredients or food industry
  • Strong understanding of specialty ingredients (e.g. vitamins, sterols, esters)
  • Experience selling to procurement and R&D teams within food, pet, healthcare, or supplement sectors
  • Independent, proactive, and commercially driven
  • Skilled in consultative selling and value-based negotiation
  • Fluent in English (Dutch or German is a strong plus)
  • Willingness to travel frequently (±50%) across the region
