Meaningful Work From Day One

As Account Manager, the role holds responsibility for developing, implementing and delivering B-F’s Global Travel Retail (GTR) strategy, process and plans through effective key account management for the East & Southeast Asia region.

Key tasks will include managing customer negotiations, securing profitable listings, building broad and deep customer relationships, optimizing merchandising placement and coordinating promotional activities. The role will collaborate with Global Travel Retail and local management teams to support the expansion and growth of the East & Southeast Asia GTR channel, evaluate market conditions, develop and implement marketing strategies and sales plans. Recommend changes to provide optimal long-term financial return and long-term consumer franchise building for B-F brands while exploring new business opportunities across the channel.

Important to success in this role is linking Brown-Forman strategies and plans to the customers strategy in a joint business plan, influencing and engaging at multiple levels and implementing innovative and commercially sound initiatives that grow sales and brand outcomes across the business partnership.

What You Can Expect

Create, execute and deliver agreed P&L objectives

Manage Travel Retailer customers to successfully implement & execute brand plans in the Travel Retail sales channel includes airport, border, airline, cruise, downtown and port retail

Successfully manage and collaborate with key accounts including Lotte, King Power, Heinemann, DFS, Eraman, DFZ and airlines to achieve excellent execution of business plan

Continue an increasingly global approach to key account management with key customers, through close collaboration with the Account Managers in other countries where the customers operate

Build, develop and grow dynamic and meaningful relationships with travel retail operators in order to interpret customer strategy, gain alignment, and achieve best in class partnership

Manage and coordinate annual pricing and listing negotiations, in partnership with GTR stakeholders and finance to ensure optimal profitability

Manage airline customers through the RFP process to achieve listings, visibility and promotional excellence on board and in lounges through collaboration with GTR and local teams

Set up brand and portfolio strategies

Work with GTR and brand teams to execute agreed brand plans and budgets to achieve regional goals in the assigned territory

Secure optimal retail brand exposure and dominate at the point of purchase, proactively identify profitable growth opportunities for the B-F spirits portfolio through merchandising and promotional activities, additional store activities, training, incentivizing, rewarding and influencing

Collaborate with GTR Customer Marketing Manager, to identify and seize brand building opportunities

Actively take the lead in fiscal and long term planning

Track and analyze available data and consumer insights to showcase new commercial and marketing opportunities with the customer

Continually assess RTM options and recommend the best options for the Travel Retail area

Remain vigilant toward iTNT and work with key stakeholders to identify and address issues in a timely manner.

Participate, populate and conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly business reviews

Collaborate and align with the local team to create synergy and maximize collaboration between B-F GTR and Local Economy

What You Bring to the Table

College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent)

Minimum 5 years national/key account experience in FMCG selling environment

Proficient in data analysis and scan data interpretation

Proficient in trade spend management and pre/post investment evaluation

Ability to generate incremental profit streams

Ability to build influential presentations and communicate fluently

A team player supportive to all functions

Must be willing to travel extensively (approximately 40% of the time)

Fluent spoken and written English
