A leading company is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage key accounts in the industrial and oil & gas sectors. The role involves promoting fluid connector solutions and providing tailored engineering support. Applicants should have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, IT-cooling, and oil & gas sectors.
Promote and sell a wide range of fluid connector solutions, including instrumentation fittings, valves, couplings, hoses, and pumps.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions and engineering support.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective and existing clients.
Work closely with engineering, product, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of solutions and projects.
Establish strong, long-term customer relationships by offering ongoing technical consultation, post-sales support, and account servicing.
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and challenges.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and business development goals.
Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and build industry connections.
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or account management within the fluid mechanics industry.
Strong knowledge of fluid connectors, valves, pumps, or related engineering parts used in liquid or gas environments.
Proven ability to sell technical products and services and provide pre- and post-sales engineering support.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to customer engagement and sales strategy.
Ability to travel to customer sites, project locations, and industry events as needed.
