Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage key accounts in the industrial and oil & gas sectors. The role involves promoting fluid connector solutions and providing tailored engineering support. Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, IT-cooling, and oil & gas sectors.

  • Promote and sell a wide range of fluid connector solutions, including instrumentation fittings, valves, couplings, hoses, and pumps.

  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions and engineering support.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective and existing clients.

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of solutions and projects.

  • Establish strong, long-term customer relationships by offering ongoing technical consultation, post-sales support, and account servicing.

  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and challenges.

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and business development goals.

  • Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and build industry connections.

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or account management within the fluid mechanics industry.

  • Strong knowledge of fluid connectors, valves, pumps, or related engineering parts used in liquid or gas environments.

  • Proven ability to sell technical products and services and provide pre- and post-sales engineering support.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to customer engagement and sales strategy.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites, project locations, and industry events as needed.
