Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated individual to manage the Commercial Business Package business, other Commercial Lines (Industrial All Risk, Public Liability, Work Injury Compensation), Personal Lines Insurance and Accident & Health lines.
Ideal Candidate will be tasked to manage a portfolio of Brokers and Financial Advisors and develop good relationship and rapport with them in a bid to develop business opportunities.
Scope Overview
Build and Maintain strong relationships with assigned portfolios of Brokers and Financial Advisors
Identify new business opportunities and potential leads within the general insurance markets
Manage day to day servicing and quotation enquiries and address any inquiries promptly within TAT
Maintaining high renewal retention of accounts
Monitor sales performances and analyse trends to identify areas for sales improvement from assigned portfolio
Staying up to date with market practise, competitors offerings and changes in regulations affecting the general industry to provide insight and identified opportunities to management
Work closely with GI stakeholders including but not limited to underwriting, claims, operations and finance
Participate in ad-hoc work/project assignments
Requirement:
Possess a recognised Diploma/Bachelors' Degree
Minimum 2 Years' experience in General Insurance space. Candidates from Insurers and Broking are welcome to apply.
Good knowledge of Commercial Insurance underwriting.
Possess certifications in General Insurance (CGI, PGI, BCP, etc.)
Strong communication and negotiation skills to handle both external and internal stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset and sales-driven
Ability to work independently.
