Overview

IDC is looking to hire an Account Manager, APAC Events.

The Account Manager will be responsible for growing Events business in Singapore and rest of Asia Pacific, as well as maintaining our current portfolio.This is a quota bearing position will entail work both through the phone and face-to-face presentations. It will also entail all attributes of the sales cycle – from prospecting, needs assessment, proposal, and closing, to account management.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sales bookings
  • Achievement of sales bookings in line with monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Responsible for achieving all personal monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by means of generating and closing new sales and renewal of existing accounts.Account Management
  • Establishing a sales pipeline that will enable sales targets of existing and new accounts tobe met each month.
  • Establishing an account plan that establishes a high call rate of client contract that achieves astrong pipeline
  • Current and accurate sales database updating
  • Develop pre-proposals, proposals based on client requirementsCustomer Service
  • Solution based sales with IDC clients
  • Responsible for ensuring that the customers’ needs are understood within IDC through thedevelopment of working relationships with clients and prospects
  • Expansion of contacts in existing IDC client organizations
