Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Account Manager (Government Accounts)

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with government clients, especially within GovTech and related public sector entities. You will act as the main liaison between the client and internal delivery and talent acquisition teams, ensuring optimal client satisfaction, successful deployment of resources, and long-term partnership growth.

What will you do?

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned government and GovTech accounts.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, procurement officers, and project owners.
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and SLA requirements.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new resource augmentation opportunities within existing government accounts.
  • Monitor government procurement platforms (e.g., GeBIZ) for tenders and projects relevant to manpower supply.
  • Respond to RFPs and prepare proposal submissions in collaboration with pre-sales and HR teams.

Financials

  • Accountable for revenue and margin targets assigned.

Talent Deployment Support

  • Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements.
  • Assist in candidate screening for cultural fit and role alignment when required by clients.
  • Oversee onboarding, contractor engagement, and ongoing relationship management of deployed resources.

Contract & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and contractual obligations.
  • Track contract renewals, extensions, and resource replacement needs proactively.

Reporting & Feedback

  • Provide regular account performance reports to internal leadership and clients.
  • Conduct client feedback sessions to improve service quality and identify upsell opportunities.

What are we looking for?

Experience:

  • 3–6 years in account management, preferably in resource augmentation, staffing, or IT outsourcing.
  • Prior experience managing accounts withgovernment agencies or GovTechis highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes (GeBIZ, bulk tenders, etc.).

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent communication, stakeholders-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven, client-focused, resourceful, and collaborative.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and handling multiple accounts and tight timelines.
  • Organised and apt to plan ahead

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s public sector ecosystem is a significant advantage.
