A leading company in the aviation sector is seeking an Account Manager to drive commercial strategies and enhance customer relationships. The role involves managing a portfolio of overseas clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading negotiations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the rotorcraft or aviation industry, along with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Summary of Job Purposes
Job Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will steer the short, mid and long term commercial strategies of your overseas clients’ portfolio in accordance with the company strategy and 5-year plan.
Your primary targets will be:
-to increase Safran Helicopter Engines business, sales and market share
-to foster the loyalty of your customers, notably through the signature of service contracts
-to steer the financial revenue (invoicing, turnover, gross margin, cash) generated through your market
-(up to 50% of the activity in the field – overseas, mainly in Asia)
To achieve your mission, you will be in daily contact with helicopter operators and you will often need to coordinate with local airframers.
Job Description:
-Draw the business forecast in your market (on short and middle terms) & follow up on its achievement by managing risks and opportunities rolling 12 months
-Lead all commercial negotiations in your market with existing customers & partners
-Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction through all the components of the aftersales market: technical support, responsiveness, service rates, material supply, contract performance, KPI’s, etc.
-Pilot the cash collection from customers
-Participate in continuous monitoring of internal controls where necessary and ensure compliance
-Participate to all improvement initiatives with the rest of the department and other company departments
-Propose best commercial solution according to situation and customers’ needs, in compliance with the contractual agreements and company commercial policies
-Draw up commercial offers factoring in the company’s commercial policy
-Optimize contract margin and ensure profitability - CMI ( additional invoicing, commercial gesture, discount)
-Ensure overall Contract execution and contractual deliverables
-Provide strong leadership to Customer service team in resolution to all customer related matters and ensure highest quality of service, communication and products is provided to all stakeholders
-Build up and manage 12 months sales forecast and ensure sales objectives are being followed
-Maintain and develop strong relationship with existing customers
-Establish Short/Mid Term strategies to develop new business opportunities with existing customers or partners with customers
-Manage commercial gestures and discount with the customer(s) in accordance with Safran HE requirements/Policies
-Prepare and organize all customer visits, relay information / complaints / customer requests to relevant stakeholders and update via Safran reporting tool.
-Pilot contract renewals and lead all offers and contract reviews
-Leader for customer satisfaction through feedbacks and customer surveys
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 5 years of working experience or more, preferably in the rotorcraft industry or in the aviation industry
Specific Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Self-starter, solution-oriented, proactive, positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset are required
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong business acumen with good data and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge in aviation gas turbines (product knowledge), aviation services and MRO industry will be an added advantage
- Microsoft Office knowledge is required (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
