Local Division Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Division in Singapore.You will be mainly accountable for:• Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work (SoW) growth actions.• Understand the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment and interprets the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.• Participate in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans of the customer.• Define and propose sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.• Sell products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing ABB, overall.• Create added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution).• Monitor competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.• Provide input on market price developments.• Drive application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, , etc.) for the account.
