Job summary

A leading company in the aesthetics sector is seeking an Accountant to manage full set accounts, including preparation of financial reports and liaising with auditors. Candidates should possess an accounting degree and be comfortable with Xero software and Microsoft Office. The role demands strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in the retail industry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience with full set accounts.
  • Prior working experience in retail industry will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.

Job description

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

· Preparation and handling of full set accounts.

· Daily accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation.

· Payment processing, staff claims disbursement.

· Handle monthly intercompany transactions.

· Matching of sales receipts through bank and payment gateway.

· Preparation of fixed asset schedule.

· Preparation of month or year end financial and management reports.

· Preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns.

· Preparation and submission of GTO sales audit.

· Prepare schedules and provide support to facilitate the annual statutory audit and corporate tax.

· Liaise with auditors and tax agents with regards to tax and audit queries.

· Assist in any liaising with corporate secretary, ad-hoc reports and duties

· Any ad-hoc activities as assigned.

Position Skills, Education and Experience required:

· Accounting degree or equivalent

· Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience with full set accounts & management reporting.

· Prior working experience in retail industry will be added advantage.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Knowledge of Xero accounting software is a must.

· Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
