Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years accounting experience required.
• Degree/ACCA in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in leading a team and fast-paced environments expected.

Responsibilities

• Review full sets of accounts, including reconciliations.
• Assist in closing clients’ accounts and preparation of financial statements.
• Handle customer queries and monitor accounts.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Review several full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL & Reporting), including reconciliations and preparation of schedules

• Assist in closing many clients’ accounts

• Assist in preparation or review of financial statements and management accounts

• Prepare, review and submit quarterly GST report for clients

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company

• Handle customers’ queries via email &/or calls

• Monitor customer’s accounts and filling deadline

• Review tax schedules and corporate income tax computations.

• Review team member’s work and provide on job guidance to the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years experience in accounting roles, and accounting firm working experience was a must.

• Accounting knowledge, Degree/ACCA in Accounting or equivalent, Chartered Accountant will add advantage

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word, and accounting software

• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with all levels and positive working attitude

• Able to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and meet tight deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude

• We have Chinese clients, and knowledge of English and Mandarin is essential
