The Enterprise Communications Software portfolio delivers communication solutions, AI-powered voice communication, and digital workflow software for the front-line workforce through the newly acquired Theatro business, as well as Wave Broadband Push-to-talk businesses. This role will work under the APAC Channel sales team as part of the Enterprise Communications Software growth plan.

Opportunity

This is a high-profile business development role aimed at strengthening and growing our Channel Business within the Enterprise Communications portfolio. You will leverage your customer and ICT experience to manage and drive sales through traditional and new channel partners. Strategic thinking and managing complex sales strategies are essential.

The Account Executive (AE) for the Theatro portfolio will focus on developing net new direct mid to large enterprise accounts, especially in the Retail vertical and others.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Primarily a hunter role focusing on new account acquisition, including cold-calling, pilots, contract negotiations, and closures.

  • Strategic Account Management: Developing and executing account strategies in collaboration with the Customer Success team.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with presales, marketing, product management, sales operations, and partners to drive new accounts.

  • Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Providing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining a healthy pipeline.

  • Customer Engagement: Working with key decision-makers and conducting joint sales calls with resellers and distributors.

  • Market Awareness: Staying informed on competitive dynamics and emerging trends.

  • CRM Excellence: Maintaining accurate customer data and reporting in Motorola’s CRM system.

  • Revenue Target Execution: Using promotions and marketing programs to meet revenue targets and drive customer adoption.

Preferred Qualifications include sales savvy, channel expertise, relationship-building skills, effective communication, analytical skills, and adaptability.

Basic Requirements
  • Proven experience in end-user account management, market/business development, channel sales management, and partner planning.
  • Track record of exceeding targets in a high-performing sales environment; enterprise sales experience in retail is a plus.
  • Ability to engage with customers and address problems with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in ICT, SI, or Telecommunications.
  • Experience with C-Level sales or large enterprise sales.
  • Experience in subscription business sales related to network or application services is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory.
