ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

About the role

LEONG SIEW WENG ENGINEERING is seeking an experienced Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to join our team in the Tuas West Region of Singapore. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and reporting. The role involves various accounting and financial tasks supporting the organisation's success.

What you'll be doing

• Handle full set accounts functions including cash flow, month-end closing, and year-end audit activities for 2 entities in Malaysia.
• Management reporting and analysis to Singapore HQ.
• Prepare audit schedules.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Manage office permits, licenses, and corporate secretarial matters.
• Liaise with Malaysian government authorities.
• Perform ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.

What we're looking for

• Accounting degree with full set experience.
• Financial accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA are a plus.
• Familiarity with MFRS, Malaysian tax, intercompany processes, and transfer pricing.
• Meticulous and accurate with numbers.
• IT savvy, with knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.
• Open-minded, friendly, willing to learn, resourceful, mature in thinking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with other departments.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malay is a plus.
• Experience in accounting firms or with LMW firms is a plus.
• Location: Singapore office, with travel between Singapore and Malaysia.
