Qualifications

  • Provide accounting support to Business Units.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
  • In-charge of Fixed Assets control and monthly forecasts.

Job description

Responsibilities

As part of Business Partnering Team, provide accounting support/advice to Business Units.

  • Managing day-to-day financial operations including accounts payables and receivables. Check invoices, payments and collections, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Vendor and Customer Master maintenance. Follow-up on Vendor SOA reconciliation discrepancy. Reconcile and resolve Intra-co discrepancies.
  • Record transactions relating to accrual, prepayments, inter-dept transfer, capital structure.
  • Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting.
  • In-charge of Fixed Assets (including leased assets) control.
  • Assist in monthly forecast, yearly Business Planning preparation & reporting.
  • Support any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma/Degree in Accountancy with minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
  • Have worked in a General Ledger/Reporting Department, A/C Payable & A/C Receivable of a medium size company to MNC with statutory reporting experience
  • Well aware of Accounting standards, GST regulations and other tax compliance
  • Analytical, independent, able to work in fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to details and data accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, ERP Systems hands-on knowledge, preferably SAP
