Job description

1 Year Contract Role

Location: Bedok

Basic + Transport Allowance + Completion Bonus

We are seeking Accounting member having experience within a Shared Service environment on GL activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.

• Manage and oversee daily shared service accounting operations with the ability to make contribution to effective operation.

• Prepare, monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements including consolidation, budget, etc.

• Support Corporate Tax team on annual corporate tax information or any tax queries.

• Need to liaise with stakeholders on service deliverable and communication including other team members within the shared service team.

• Follow and adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Coordinate and complete annual audits or support any internal audit requirements.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Ensure compliance with Japan-SOX standards and regulatory requirements.

• Ad-hoc assignment as and when assigned by manager/supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven working experience in fast paced environment.

• Preferred with experience SAP user (but not compulsory) and able to adapt and learn financial tools.

• Ability to review and process large amounts of data.

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Attain Professional Accounting Qualification, ACCA, CIMA / Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
