About the team The Funded Startups team is dedicated to winning all top venture capital backed startups in APAC. We achieve this by combining subject matter expertise with robust collaboration within the startup ecosystem. Our focus is on identifying and partnering with high-potential startups, assisting them in monetizing their products, scaling globally, and creating new revenue streams. You have the opportunity to sell the entire suite of Stripe products and run the full sales cycle through onboarding.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will create partnerships between Stripe and founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing funded startups in APAC by helping them understand how Stripe’s financial infrastructure and solutions can support their growth ambitions and create a competitive advantage for their businesses.

As an Account Executive on the Funded Startups team, you’ll identify new opportunities for startups to maximize Stripe’s product suite by understanding their needs and advising them on leveraging market-leading financial solutions. You will develop and execute campaigns to build a sales pipeline and work with users to increase Stripe adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for funded startups
  • Identify high-potential prospective users from inbound and outbound leads
  • Lead and contribute to APAC team projects to develop and refine sales strategies, including engaging with Accelerators and VC firms
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and User Operations teams to support growth

Our funded users are ambitious and demanding, and a successful candidate will match their curiosity, speed, and passion. You are solution-oriented, adaptable, eager to develop, and skilled at working with diverse stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales or client-facing experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS, banking, consulting, or venture capital, with a proven performance record
  • Ability to understand the Stripe API and build relationships with technical founders
  • Capability to understand complex requirements and craft solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, including basic modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strong interest in technology and startups

Employees spend at least 50% of their time in the office or with users, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range in the primary location is S$159,000 - S$238,600, inclusive of base salary and on-target earnings (OTE). The range varies by location and experience. Benefits may include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends, discussed during the interview process.
