Job summary

A leading company in the financial sector in Singapore is looking for an experienced finance professional to manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely submission of financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Finance/Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good command of English are essential. This role involves compliance with statutory requirements and project accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in handling a full set of accounts.
  • Understanding of project accounting and WIP required.
  • Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Job description

  • Able to maintain full set of accounts for operating entities including project accounting (at least 3 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts)
  • Performs data management tasks- accurately entering information in system(AP, AR, GL, Payment and Receipt)
  • Timely and accurate submissions of financial reports to the corporate office and compliance of group accounting policies and all external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that the finance and accounting functions are in compliance with statutory reporting requirements and the records in the system is maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards.
  • Preparation of monthly management report and accompanied with schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
  • Assist with annual external audit, and assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit.
  • Provide secretarial functions to executive management
  • Handle day to day office administrative matters
  • Adhoc matters as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRE:

  • Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting
  • Min. 3 years relevant working experience in similar capacity.
  • Understanding of project accounting and WIP required
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, accurate, honest, detailed & well organized.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Have good personality, interpersonal, leadership & communication skill.
  • Good written and oral for English.
