JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Executive with at least of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally with experience managing bookkeeping for the APAC region. This role will assist in managing the company’s bookkeeping duties, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in managing and maintaining accurate financial records for the APAC region, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  • Support the handling of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and following up on outstanding invoices specific to the APAC region.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a focus on APAC regional data, as required.
  • Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regional accounting standards.
  • Monitor and record company expenses within the APAC region, ensuring they adhere to internal policies and regional regulations.
  • Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits, particularly those related to APAC operations.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, regulations, and company policies across the APAC region.
  • Assist the Finance Supervisor in various ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed, with a focus on the APAC region.

JOB REQUIREMENT(S)

  • Minimum a Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a preference for experience managing bookkeeping for the APAC region.
  • Good understanding of GST, VAT, and other tax-related matters will be advantageous.
  • Experience with Xero accounting software is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
