About the role

As an Account Executive at Alpha Associate Engineering Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. Based in the Tuas West Region, this full-time position will allow you to apply your skills in bookkeeping and small practice accounting to support the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review

• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

• Providing administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries

• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as vendors and clients, to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions

• Staying up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance

What we're looking for

• Relevant diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small to medium-sized organisation

• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain accurate financial records

• Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest accounting practices and regulations
