Our client, a global tech solutions provider, is seeking an Account Director in Singapore to lead client management and business development in the Travel & Transportation sector.

The company has a strong presence in the APAC region and works closely with key partners to provide integrated solutions that meet the complex needs of its clients.

As part of their strategic expansion in the Travel & Transportation sector, they are seeking an Account Director to lead client management and business development efforts within this industry. This is a regional role based in Singapore, focusing on driving long-term relationships with key clients, overseeing the delivery of IT services, and supporting the growth of the company's offerings in the Travel & Transportation vertical across the region.

Description

  1. Develop and implement a strategic business development plan focused on Travel & Transportation accounts in the region.
  2. Identify high-value target accounts and pursue new business opportunities within the sector.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and C-suite executives.
  4. Collaborate closely with pre-sales and delivery teams to design and implement customized IT solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
  5. Manage a strong sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets with large-scale projects.
  6. Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and key insights to leadership.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.

Profile

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record of successfully driving large deals and managing enterprise-level accounts.
  2. Expertise in the Travel & Transportation industry, with experience in complex, consultative sales within a vendor-partner ecosystem.
  3. Strong network within the public and enterprise sectors, especially with C-suite decision-makers.
  4. Ability to sell a full suite of IT services, tailoring solutions to meet diverse client needs.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
  6. Proven experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with pre-sales, delivery teams, and vendors.
  7. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to identify opportunities and close high-value deals.
