Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Accounting and Administrative Manager. The role involves overseeing the full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing office administrative duties. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Strong software proficiency and excellent organizational skills are required. Job description

Accounting Duties:

• Oversee full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliation)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting

• Ensure accurate and timely tax submissions (GST, corporate tax, etc.)

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies

• Handle payroll, CPF submissions, and employee claims

• Monitor and maintain fixed asset register

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Administrative Duties:

• Supervise general administrative tasks such as office supplies, maintenance, and service contracts

• Ensure compliance with HR policies, MOM regulations, and company procedures

• Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations (e.g., WP, S Pass)

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management

• Coordinate company insurance policies (workmen compensation, medical, etc.)

• Organize and oversee company events, training, and meetings

• Handle correspondence with vendors, government agencies, and clients as needed

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and office administration

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and MS Office

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and lead a small team
