A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Manager to lead its accounts department. The role involves managing financial reporting, overseeing a team, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should possess a degree in Finance or Accountancy, have leadership experience, and ideally be familiar with the construction industry.
Job descriptions:
Report to the Director.
• Lead the accounts department team.
• Manage consolidation accounts.
Supervise and handle the full set of accounts.
• Prepare year-end reports, GST filings, ECI, tax computations, IR8A, IR21, government surveys, and other relevant government requirements.
• Ensure accurate, timely monthly financial reporting and statutory accounting for management.
• Guide and coach internal stakeholders to improve processes, workflows, internal controls, compliance, and account systems, including SOP improvements.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.
Job requirements:
• Degree in Finance or Accountancy, or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with full set accounts, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in the construction/building industry with Globe 3 ERP system is an advantage.
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills.
• A committed, self-driven individual with good stress management skills.
• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
