Job description

The opportunity

Bellus Group Pte Ltd is seeking an Account Assistant to join our growing team in the Woodlands North Region. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounting and Finance functions, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform core bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, recording transactions, and reconciling accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to support financial transactions
  • Monthly Stock take audit
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting department as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Strong proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficient in data entry, analysis, and reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field
