Job summary

A leading restaurant in Singapore is seeking an accounts receivable clerk to manage billing and financial reporting. The role requires proficiency in data entry, independent work capabilities, and good communication skills. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience or equivalent accounting knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 1 year or more experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role.
  • Very good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Able to work independently and start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving any errors or payment enquiries.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining billing system

  • Generating invoices and account statement & accounts reconciliation

  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records, producing monthly financial and management reports.

  • Investigating and resolving any errors, shortfall or enquiries

  • Ensuring payments received within payment terms/ calling clients regarding payments

  • Assist in preparing detailing accounts receivable status, filing & scanning

  • Any ad-hoc works within the dept

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in data entry skills

  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in similar

  • Team player

  • Good-Time management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • very good understanding of accounting principles

  • Relevant diploma in related fields, 1 year or more experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role (Non Diploma graduate but with accounting experiences may apply)

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to start immediately or within short notice
