A leading company in Singapore is seeking an accounts assistant who will be responsible for daily account receivable duties, ensuring accurate filing, general office administration, and maintaining records of payments. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate in Accounting and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in MYOB preferred. Bilingual abilities in English and Chinese are essential for liaising with clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of GST is an advantage.
  • Able to start work on short notice.

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Responsible for daily account receivable duties.
  • Ensure accurate filling and perform general office administration like banking, posting and collection of letters.
  • Performing data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
  • Handles all inter-companies’ transactions.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Assist in other financial matters as required.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate in Accounting or related field with at least 2 years related experience respectively
  • Working experience in GST and MYOB knowledge will be add advantage
  • PC Literate, Excel, Word, preferably interested and good in Accounts
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)
  • Able to start work in a short notice.
