A leading company in mechanical engineering is seeking an Accounting and HR professional to handle full accounting functions and HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong attention to detail. This role involves multi-tasking, compliance management, payroll processing, and reporting, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and a positive workplace environment.
Accounting Scope:
Perform full sets of accounts such as day-to-day accounting function and month-end closing
Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
Manage and coordinate for annual audits and tax return filings (GST and VAT).
Assist with the audit reporting process & audit schedules
Payment collection
Perform monthly payroll (by System), CPF submission, tax, and insurance-related matters
Prepare revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
Resolve accounting discrepancies.
Oversee, review & implement an effective system of internal control procedures and reporting.
Search on the government grant for SME.
HR Scope:
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and other related authority by HR personnel.
In charge of HR functions which include but are not limited to the following areas: hiring & selection, compensation & benefit, performance appraisal, administration and training.
Responsible for the full spectrum of HR administration such as work passes application, staff hiring and exits, filing, leave recording, NS claims, etc.
Other ad hoc tasks will be assigned from time-to-time
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification with minimum of 3 years of experience in financial & human resource reporting.
Mature, Conscientiousness, attention to detail, attentiveness to accuracy, and maintaining a positive attitude.
Able to multi-tasking and proactive.
Initiative and proactive in resolving issues.
