RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer courses for learning and development, ensuring the smooth operation and efficient delivery of educational programs to meet learning outcomes, objectives, and standards.
- Execute administrative tasks associated with running courses, including handling day-to-day issues, course queries, enrollment, communication, scheduling, material preparation, record keeping, and pre- and post-course evaluations.
- Facilitate and provide logistical support for ongoing and new courses, events, seminars, and programs.
- Support ongoing curriculum development and the implementation of various formats ranging from in-person, online, hybrid, to blended learning options.
- Contribute to curriculum development by collaborating with stakeholders such as architects, consultants, subject matter experts, and educational designers to evaluate and create engaging learning experiences.
- Work with various stakeholders in digital production of course content, including lesson plans and development of modular, stackable micro-learning materials.
- Assist in website content management, research, and compilation of relevant course resources with domain experts, as well as maintaining and organizing archives of course materials.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Diploma or degree in instructional design, user experience, management, sustainability, architecture, or the built environment.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in design, sustainability, architecture, the built environment, or training and education.
- A strong interest in lifelong learning and development; certification as an adult educator is an advantage.
- Proficiency in visual communication and graphic presentation software.
- Working knowledge of learning management systems (e.g., WizLearn, Canvas) and ability to present, facilitate, and administer online learning.
- Experience with media and video editing, animation skills, and operating basic AV equipment (projectors, mics, etc.) in a theatre setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel with Pivot Tables, virtual conferencing platforms like Zoom, authoring software (iSpring, 360 articulate), and open-source applications relevant to course development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively without compromising quality.
- A valuable team player capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
- A curious, resourceful individual skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving, especially in fast-paced, diverse team environments.
