Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Preschool Principal to lead a team of early childhood teachers across Toa Payoh, Novena, and Marine Drive with islandwide location options.

You will be responsible for strategic direction, licensing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, while building strong relationships with parents to address concerns promptly. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership or ECDA certificates and have 1–2 years of Principal

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership or ECDA certificates.
• At least 1-2 years experience as Preschool Principal.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of early childhood teachers to provide quality education and holistic development for children.
• Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool.
• Build rapport and trusted relationships with parents to address concerns and feedback promptly.
• Oversee ECDA licensing, renewal and maintenance of the preschool license.
• Set educational standards and establish policies and programs to carry them out.
• Review and improve center policies and programs to raise standards across the group.
• Ensure daily operations comply with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor teachers to enhance teaching, learning and evaluation effectiveness.
• Manage center programs, enrollment and resources, including budgeting.

Job description

• Position: Preschool Principal
• Locations: Toa Payoh / Novena/ Marine Drive (Islandwide location available too!)
• Salary: $5500-$7000
• Working Day: 5 Days (Mon - Fri)

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership or equivalent certificates recognized by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)
• At least 1-2 years experience as Preschool Principal

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of early childhood teachers in providing quality education, holistic development, and care for the children

• Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool

• Build rapport and trusted relationships with parents to ensure concerns, issues and feedback are addressed on a timely basis appropriately.

• Responsible for all government related matters such as ECDA including renewing and maintaining of license

• Set educational standards and goals and help establish policies, procedures and programs to carry them out

• Proactively review current policies, procedures and programs and identify ways to improve the overall standards of the preschools and future preschools which will be acquired by the Group

• Ensure daily operations are in order and in compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements, where applicable

• Mentor teachers in all areas to facilitate collaborative approaches for learning, teaching and evaluation so as to improve the overall performance standards and competencies

• Implementation of specific center programs, initiatives and events

• Handle center administrative matters and enrollment

• Determine licensing, health and safety regulations from the start and local regulatory agencies requirements

• Management and optimization of center resources

• Prepare budget and control budget expenditures
