Job description

Tender Manager

Salary: SGD 5,000 to 7,500 + Mobile Allowance $100

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am to 6pm)

Working Location: Braddell MRT

Responsibilities:
  1. Analyse and clarify RFQs (Request for Quotation) or opportunities during pre-tender and tender phase and to raise queries or amendments in order to influence clients or consultants if possible.
  2. Prepare Risk Management (RM) checklist to present to local and Japan management for decisions.
  3. Go for site show round to understand the scope of work and prepare MOM for Tender scope.
  4. Lead and organize single or multi-systems like mechanical, electrical and ELV tender preparation, reviews, and submission to ensure completeness, quality, technical and risk compliance, and on-time tender submission.
  5. Consolidate and analyse technical data, bill of quantities, price schedules, cost/quotes, financial data, and commercial contracts to ensure technical compliance, risk mitigation, and competitiveness during tender preparation and clarification phase.
  6. Arrange project involvement during the Tender stage and manpower planning with the project to develop a project organization chart and preliminary cost.
  7. Enhance and consolidate quotes to reach target win price while avoiding rejection and margin slippage and prepare Tender cost summary for management approval for tender profit margin.
  8. Prepare tender interview presentation to support management during tender clarification/negotiation phase to win tender.
  9. Lead and organize tender reviews and meetings to ensure completeness and quality handover to the project management team.
  10. Prepare Weekly Tender Report to submit to Japan.
  11. Perform any other related duties assigned to support management.

Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in electrical work for buildings (M&E), with knowledge of HT LV, ELV, ACMV, and fire systems.
  2. Degree holder in a relevant field, with a passion for continuous learning.
