Must Fulfill All 5 Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of related industry experience in project sales with a strong track record (able to bring in 5 - 10 million sales per year)
- Highly prefer someone with project sales experience in pharmaceutical and/or wastewater treatment industry.
- Hunter sales role in generating sales leads and bringing in new projects & clients for the company. (Farmer role is not suitable)
- Strong technical skills in engineering design, analysis, and testing.
Job Scopes
- Follow up with site walk and client enquiry for new jobs or projects, and work together with project engineers and managers for quotations and tender submissions, ensuring purchase orders are secured.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and liaise with clients on detailed engineering requirements.
- Prepare quotations, budget plans, and submissions for approval from project engineers or managers.
- Prepare method statements, lifting plans, and work schedules to ensure safety and risk assessments.
- Prepare MTO and raise MR for all materials required for the project.
- Responsible for equipment installation, structure installation, piping erection operations, and pipe support installation according to schedule, procedures, specifications, and available drawings.
- Handle technical queries and investigate work-related problems, including drawing field sketches when necessary.
- Review project specifications, ISO drawings, and P&ID.
- Counter-check ISO drawings, P&ID, and GA drawings for correct location, orientation, and alignment.
- Carry out final P&ID checks of installed piping systems and prepare 'AS BUILT' drawings.
- Conduct mechanical clearance, hydro and pneumatic tests, and fulfill commissioning and pre-commissioning requirements.
- Perform line checks after hydro or pneumatic testing to complete post-punch list before sign-off.
- Ensure all punch list items are resolved, client handover is satisfactory, and project timelines are maintained.
- Take corrective and preventive actions to address quality, safety, and health issues at the site.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-up, service delivery, and closing transactions.
