Business Development Manager (Hunter Role)
Basic Salary: $4000- $6000 (allowance + Commission) Working time: 8.30am to 6pm Working location: Near City Hall
Reporting to: Director of Sales & Assistant Director of Sales
Objective
To primarily promote the Hotel and, where possible, hotels belonging to the chain in the Singapore region.
Establish lead generation & acquire new accounts to achieve group and FIT revenue goals based on market segmentation and budget & meet Hotel Budget.
Assist in the development of Junior Sales to develop proactive sales/hunting sales techniques.
Measurement The performance of the BD Manager will be determined solely by the productivity of the corporate section as well as the overall results of the Hotel.

Responsibilities
Meet performance goals for assigned portfolio.
Provide weekly sales updates and ensure total account management.
Plan sales activities and set priorities to achieve revenue targets.
Work with the reactive sales team to convert group & event bookings.
Use market research to identify key accounts and priority markets.
Maximize resources to penetrate new accounts and drive new business.
Maintain client relationships for business continuity.
Participate in sales projects and assigned activities.
Understand job roles, goals, and sales department SOPs. Follow hotel personnel policies and procedures.
Help develop and execute marketing plans to attract group business.
Create sales action plans with measurable strategies.
Monitor forecasts, production, and sales trends to boost revenue.
Communicate closely with all departments.
Respond promptly to Sales Offices and stakeholders.
Ensure smooth coordination between Sales and other teams.
Reply to sales leads on the same day.
Work with the Assistant/Director of Sales to manage key accounts.
Perform other tasks assigned by hotel management.
Administrative
Maintain records of new and potential clients using Company System.
Schedule and organize regular client visits.
Prepare a monthly schedule for sales activities.
Submit a weekly sales summary to the Director of Sales.
Provide monthly/quarterly business account analysis.
Submit weekly competitor reports.
Ensure accurate invoicing and verify new clients' credit status.
Record daily sales calls, account statistics, and monthly production reports.
Conduct staff briefings when needed.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
Uphold company Vision and Values.
Arrange meetings with professionals and key clients.
Host entertainment and discussions to promote the hotel.
Maintain professionalism with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
Follow the Hotel Employee Handbook and policies.
Support and encourage team members.
Attend required training sessions.
Ensure impeccable personal presentation and dress standards.
Assist leadership with Company Culture initiatives.
Participate in training using Typsy & etc Platforms.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years in Hotel Business Development
Diploma in any discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.
Working knowledge of operation and application of the Hotel's computer/data processing system. Opera System preferred.
