A leading company in the M&E industry is seeking an Assistant Contract Manager / Senior QS to support the Tender/Contracts Team. This role involves managing contract administration, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Ideal candidates should have a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years of experience in industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Pre/Post-Contracts administration.

Assistant Contract Manager / Senior QS [M&E Industry]

Basic: $4,000 - $5,000
Working Hours: 5 Days Mon-Fri (830am to 530pm)
Location: Jalan Kilang Timor, Redhill (Office)

Job Responsibilities

• As part of Tender/Contracts Team responsible in Pre/Post-Contracts administration
• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative.
• Review and preparing of response for claims and variation costs;
• To compile subcontractor quotations and submit for review and approval;
• To review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from various approving parties;
• Preparation of final accounts and variation submissions;
• Any other contracts management related job

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Good knowledge of Singapore health and safety rules and regulations.
• Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage
• Good knowledge on local pricings
