Job description

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Perform GL month-end closing and posting of journals such as provisions, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
Work closely with other team members to ensure all financials are reported correctly and on time.
Prepare monthly reporting, cash forecast, and group reporting.
Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and investigate any unusual items.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain strong internal controls.
Prepare audit schedules and manage the entire audit process.
Finalize Financial Reports and ensure all statutory reporting complies with regulations, including statistical surveys.
Tax compliance - GST, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing.
Prepare corporate tax information for tax agents to complete tax computation and filing.
Perform variance analysis and manage costs accruals/provisions.
Work closely with the FP&A team to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Calculate sales incentives and submit to HR for payroll submission.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and local government bureaus as required.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and provide financial information/recommendations.
Drive continuous process improvement, SOP, and ad-hoc projects such as new system implementation.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
