Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight charges for all shipments.
• Establish and maintain the shipping schedule.
• Collaborate closely with the supply chain team and forwarders.
• Prepare shipping documents in accordance with L/C requirements.
• Keep customers informed about shipment status.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices from freight forwarders.
• Advise and provide freight cost information to the sales department.
• Organize and maintain shipping correspondence and file records.

Job description

• Salary : $2,500 – $3,000
• Working Days: Monday - Friday 8.15am-5.30pm
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided at Lakeside & Boon Lay MRT station)

Job Responsibilities:

• Negotiate freight charges for all shipments.
• Establish and maintain the shipping schedule.
• Collaborate closely with the supply chain team and forwarders to ensure timely execution of shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents in accordance with L/C requirements and present them to the bank for negotiation.
• Keep customers informed about shipment status and address any inquiries regarding shipment movement and arrangements.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices from freight forwarders and ensure proper payment arrangements.
• Advise and provide freight cost information to the sales department.
• Organize and maintain shipping correspondence and file records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
