Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes from your assigned section with precision, consistency and high presentation standards.
- Work directly on or around the open-fire grill, managing heat and timing for optimal flavour and texture.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place, service and kitchen cleanliness.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards according to SFA and internal SOPs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
- Participate in daily prep, service and post-service duties with a proactive and professional attitude.
- Receive and store deliveries properly, maintaining stock rotation and quality checks.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of kitchen experience in a refined or upscale restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with grilling techniques, live-fire cooking and flavour layering.
- Basic knife skills and understanding of mise en place systems.
